CALGARY - Jiri Hudler has had a hot hand lately as the Detroit Red Wings continued their fine play with a 5-2 win over the Calgary Flames on Saturday.

Hudler notched the game-winning goal and had an assist as the Wings won their fifth straight game to improve their record to 14-2-3.

"It's a bit of luck," said Hudler, who jumped off the bench as the extra attacker and fired a feed from Henrik Zetterberg into the top corner over Calgary goalie Miikka Kiprusoff's outstretched glove at 11:21 of the third. "It was a great p

The Penguins had no answer for Detroit's suffocating style as Henrik Zetterberg's third period goal ensured that the Cup was headed back to 'Hockeytown' for the fourth time in the past 11 seasons.

With 13 goals and 26 points in the playoffs, Zetterberg was named the winner of the Conn Smyth Trophy, becoming only the second Swedish player to accomplish the feat.

DETROIT - NHL history suggests that the Detroit Red Wings are shoo-ins to win the Stanley Cup now.

Brad Stuart, Tomas Holmstrom and Valtteri Filppula scored the goals and Chris Osgood blanked the Pittsburgh Penguins for the second straight game, 3-0 on the heels of a 4-0 whitewash in the opener, as the Red Wings took a 2-0 stranglehold on the championship series Monday night.

The all-time championship series record of home clubs winning the first two games is 30-1. The 1970-71 Chicago Blackhawks were the only team to b
