The problem with HD+ feeds is that they're 1800K - Even if you have a 3Mbit connection it could be dipping below 1.8 momentarily when there's network congestion at prime time (6pm-10pm) internet usage. That's what causes the buffering for people with the HD+. I'd always recommend a higher internet connection for the HDplus feeds to be safe.

inactive said:I'm having some problems with the HD+ streams too. HQ and HD streams work great but if I try the HD+ it will just buffer every minute or so (my buffer is set to 45 seconds).
Speedtest gave about 3.5mbps to Montreal and 6.4mbps to Amsterdam.
Whats strange though is that I tried to ping and tracert cdn-a-3.distrubutionaire.com and both of those just gave me timeouts. So I dunno should there be some specific ports open because I use NAT?
Also these test were done on a laptop with wireless and on a computer that was hardwired straigth to my router.
I mean the HD feed is just fantastic (I use a TV as a pc monitor to watch the games) but I guess I should in theory be able to watch the HD+ streams with those speeds.

What about the ping and tracert tests always timing out? Shouldn't they at least produce some kind of results other than timeout?

That could be because of your router - Try plugging in directly to the modem to see if you can get a traceroute through.

Well, as I said in my first post, I already tried that and it still gave me the timeouts.

Are you able to do a traceroute and ping on google.com?

That's interesting, because no I don't seem to be able to do neither a traceroute nor a ping on google.com or actually anywhere.

Could be an antivirus blocking it.

[quote=billy]When the issue cannot be reproduced there's not much we can do. If you read above the gentleman that was having an issue on one computer solved his issue by using a different computer and getting down to the issue. We currently have enough bandwidth to support triple the users we have - That's not the issue.

If you're getting fine bandwidth and no latency, I too would try to use another computer to try to eliminate issues.

    Let me know

Now i dont have possibility to use another computer and check that... But i found something... When i test my bandwidth on speedtest.net or on other similar sites it shows me that i have 2,0 MB or more, but when i play your stream i click mouse right button i go to statistics and then to advanced,i see that my using bandwidth is a much lower. What you think about that? It`s something wrong with my computer or with my ISP?
PS. Sorry for my poor english, but i hope you understand what i wrote...

    Your English is great

I wouldn't think it's anything to do with the ISP - It sounds like it's more an issue with your network configuration (either on the computer, or networking equipment).
