    can't get past buffering
Apple MacBook Pro; Snow Leopard; airport extreme wireless; ethernet.
Passed all speed and ping tests.
Changed airport network settings as suggested in a previous post.
Have tried both with a fast wired connection at work and wireless at home.
Downloaded and installed flip4mac and rebooted.

Nothing works. Buffering spinner shows on status bar, but game never comes on. HockeyStreams used to work for me--not sure if I've watched a game after upgrading to Snow Leopard or not, but I sure can't get anything now and I bought the whole season this year. I hope someone has some ideas.

Also, I sent tracerroute to Contact Us on this site, but there was no reply.

    Streaming problems on Mac
Add one more to the list of streaming issues on a mac(new mac mini). Archived streams (which is all I typically have time to watch) are unwatchable due to constant shutter/buffer. I've also tried Safari, Firefox, VLC, Flip4mac...nothing helps.

Too bad, HD Plus streams look great...just need to fix the mac issues and I'll be back.

PS. Everything works great on my PC at work!

edited by snarminoxx on 01/20/2010 - 02:32 AMWay Slower than promised
Let join all the other frustrated mac users out there. My connection is FAST, 1800 KBytes/s (not Kbits) for all downloads...except from Hockeystreams.com which downloads at 20-40KB/s. I have the same problem on my Snow Leopard and on my Leopard partitions, both live and archived, both wired and wireless. Like many others on this site, I paid for the HDPlus year-long subscription and feel ripped off. We're supposed be able to watch streams in real time, but instead it takes all day to load one game. You've got our so-called donations. Now spend a bit of it to figure out how the heck you're going to fulfill your promises to mac users, or else refund us our money.

    Download Archives?
    Hey all -

anyone know the best way to download archives to watch without streaming?

My connection is too slow to watch the HDplus feeds, but I could download the archives and watch locally.

trying to do direct from flip4Mac, but it doesn't seem to be working?

Up to date on all programs, OS snow leapord, etc ..

    thanks

We don't allow you to download the archives due to piracy concerns.

    Advancing Streams
I've tried everything I read so far but have not been able to advance or skip around an archived stream. I really do not care about watching the announcers and all the crap during intermission! Can someone help this disgruntled MAC user!!!! And thank you everyone for all your previous posts to assist us less techie guys!

    Thanks,
    Ken
