    We will be doing a free preview starting today, Nov 28th, and ending in December 9th.

    We would like a broader range of users to be able to see how the new silverlight feeds look, and potentially gather data on how to improve these feeds further.

    For the mean time we have closed Premium Registration, however - If you'd still like to donate in the mean time you can contact us directly for instructions.

    To access the feeds, all you need to do is register for a regular account

    Silverlight buffer workaround possibility
    Billy,

    Don't know if this is possible with the hockeystreams version of silverlight but I found this workaround to eliminate buffering issues with silverlight for netflix.

    It seems that when starting a SL stream it begins ok for about a minute or so then begins to stutter and buffer unexpectedly (in netflix anyways). The same thing seems to happen when I use SL streams for HockeyStreams.

    The workaround fix that works well in netflix is to click shift/alt and left mouse once the stream starts. That brings up a stream manager box. If you check the manual selection box you can force the player to buffer at 500 instead of automatic. That seems to render the tream to be extremely stable.

    It needs to be done everytime but helps.

    Don't know if it is possible to do this watching a live game but you may be able to find something...

    istream not in free preview for me, i get video and 20-30 seconds later just a quicktime screen and just audio

    Use it on a WiFi connection. That means your 3G is cutting out.

    Hi,
    just noticed during the freeview, that you are not showing the HD feed of the games (like habs/sens tonight). When will you be able to stream the HD feed?...thanks
