The HD feed doesnt seem to be HD all the time. I have better luck choosing automatic...but it jumps back and forth between HD and SD a lot.

The plan is not to have a good middle speed option? The 800kbps isn't worth paying for and the 3200kbps HD one is so big many people can't stream it well. It just makes sense to offer something in the middle. Otherwise, I won't be watching any live streams and will just have to watch the archived games so I can let the HD streams buffer ahead to play smoothly.

I'm trying to watch the archived Leafs/Canadians game on flash and it's buffering a lot and then I get this message: We are unable to connect to the content you've requested. We apologize for the inconvenience. I refreshed the screen, but it has happened five times now and I'm only in the second period!

What is your current bandwidth? You can find this information on http://www.speedtest.net - If it's anything under 4Mbit, You will have to choose SD from the quality menu on top of the media player.

I am having the same problem. Tried watching Boston - Philly from the 6th. The stream just keeps buffering all the time and after a certain period of time it just says: We are unable to connect to the content you've requested. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Is that stream location selection available yet? Seeing as I am from Finland, Sweden should provide stream nicely.

I did some speedtests to three locations three times each:

    Finland: ~ 18 / 1 Mb/s
    Sweden: ~ 17 / 1 Mb/s
    Holland: ~ 17 / 1 Mb/s

So speed shouldn't be a problem, right? Is there any selection for the flash stream buffer size? Way back when using WM streams it helped when I set the buffer size to much bigger. As a long time subscriber I would like to see these problems fixed once and for all. Is that possible?

The flash archives from last night aren't working for me. The player never brings up the play button are starts. Is it like that for everyone else?

Is there problems with WMV feeds? I can't get it to work in IE or in Firefox. I have WMP 12, updated the player, disabled the proxy and did the DNS thing.

I can go into an archived game and copy the URL into WMP and it works, just doesn't work for the live feeds.

    thanks

Like others here, I found the on-demand flash stream of the Maples vs. Canadiens game quite unwatchable.

Buffering every few min, switching from HD to SD to HD and back to SD...it gave me a headache. But the most annoying part for me was the stuttering -- almost as if my computer is incapable of streaming without lagging behind.

What I found was that the first time you guys tested flash, I had the same problems. The second time around, I think Billy mentioned that he disabled 'ghosting' and the picture was much smoother and the stuttering was very infrequent. Can we get back to that? That stream was so much better in so many aspects.

Flash SD is absolutely horrid quality. WMV is capped at 1000kbps. So for those of us who are unable to watch Flash without the aforementioned problems, have to resort to sub-par streaming quality that we can find on other free streaming sites.

I have absolutely no issues streaming flash 720p/1080p videos from youtube and other video sites. No stuttering, no constant buffering, no switching from SD to HD....

Oh and as far as my internet speed:

Can you confirm the same issues on the Flyers Bruins feed?
