    2011-2012 Season Changes Update
    Hello,
Since the original thread got fairly large - I've decided to create a new one to list completed updates and changes that were promised.

As many of you know, We've been testing Flash for our streams. You can see a preview for the flash stream here.

We are now officially supporting Android as well.

Starting on the 6th, You will see a simple change to the live streams page. A scrolldown box that lets you choose your quality. You can choose between Automatic, SD, and HD. SD is a 800Kbps 640x480 feed, HD is a 3200Kbps 1280x720 feed. (This is also available on our mobile website for iStream). This change is already live for all archives which have a flash feed, so you may test it out.

Starting on the 6th, We will no longer have any more Silverlight feeds. Each feed will still have one WMV feed that will remain the same (640x480 @ 1000Kbps)

    Stay tuned for additional updates!

via Flash, You'd have to access it through the main webpage, and not the mobile one.

    Thanks

    streams

I like the idea of updating the streams, but my one issue is, I haven't been able to get any feed to be able to be made to fill the whole screen. The only one I have been able to do that with is the Silverlight, and you say it will not be there anymore. Can you assist me with a feed, or a way, to get the streams to be enlarge to fill the screen?

    Hello,
I'm not sure what you mean... Are you pressing the full screen button?

Live streaming on flash in full screen mode is when I was getting the constant buffering and freezing. I will not be pleased if you have abandoned silverlight before having a working full screen replacement for live games. It never worked for me. The on demand streams were fine in full screen mode though the buffering keeps popping up (you really need to move that buffering popup from the middle of the picture!

    Different game then titled?

Hey billy not sure if its my end, but I went to test out the new HD flash stream, and the game i selected is not actually the game i wanted.

For example, I clicked on Edmonton vs. Vancouver on Oct. 1, selected HD feed, and the game that loaded was Pittsburgh vs Detroit?

This only happens when I manually select the video quality (either HD or SD). If I just click on flash and let it play, it plays the correct game.

Also if i select it back to Automatic, it plays the correct game.

    Any thoughts?
