I'm looking for a new TV and would like to get one that can play hockeystreams. Has anyone watched on a Google TV or Samsung Smart tv? Those are the only two that I know of supporting a full flash player.
I'll be trying out hockeystreams on a store TV but I would like to hear from someone that has more extensive experience with their smart tv and hockeystreams.

In a nutshell - I bought the Samsung 46 inch 7000 TV. HD, 3D, and Smart. It was unusable with hockeystreams and flash.
The problems: mostly lots of buffering. Would play for a few seconds (one time up to 30 seconds) but then buffer again. It would frequently flicker the entire screen. Several times it flayed video only and no audio. I changed the flash storage settings for the website to unlimited but it didn't seem to make a difference. I changed the quality to SD and set the location to North America since I'm in Baltimore.
We may be able to try hockeystreams on a friends Google TV Revue next.

Different results with Google TV
Thanks for replying - at least knowing that others get the same results is something.
As a result I tried Google TV's set top boxes - two of them with different results.
Logitech Revue: a friend of mine has the Revue and he tried using hockeystreams. On-demand: played fine. Live: kept crashing the browser. I wasn't there so I wasn't able to debug it.
Sony's Blu-Ray Player: I bought this today and was impressed. Live streaming: worked great, almost flawless. On-demand: keeps buffering and hanging. I set the website storage to unlimited, it didn't help. I use the on-demand feature almost as much as the live streaming.
Does anyone know if anything can be done to improve this?

I again tried watching several on-demand games and this time everything went smoothly. I tried the same US-Canada game from the Juniors which was giving me problems last night and several other games. All played without a hitch.
So now I'm quite happy with Google TV on the Sony blu-ray player. It handles hockeystreams well.
There are some additional things for me to tweak. The puck tends to flicker across the screen, for example. But it's still quite viewable now.

logitech revue
I have been able to stream live and on demand until recently. I am able to get to the game and then I get an error saying the Shock wave has crashed. Revue (google TV) recently upgraded the firm ware to Andoid 3.1> Not sure how to change or fix the Shockwave issue. My Flash icon on the Revue says beta in the top right corner, when I watch on my PC, Flash does not say beta. ANyone know what to do here.

Update to shockwave plug in crash
Checked the Logitech website for support, seems that a lot of users are experiencing the crash since the Android 3.1 upgrade in December. I cleared my cache and reset the box by unplugging and it worked on a live stream without crashing on 2/5- Will check again tonight to see if still working OK.

Just saw your posts and I hope you got it working. I think GoogleTV is a great platform technically-speaking but it's somewhat content-challenged. We pretty much bought it only so that we could watch hockeystreams. Gotta keep up with the Jets somehow since we live in the states.
For us it's been really good. Most nights we have little or no problems watching games. The problems we do experience are the ones other users experience: occasional buffering or feeds that get dropped across the board. GoogleTV, the built-in Chrome browser and built-in Flash player have never crashed on us.
